Me, Myself & I Am

Me Myself & I AM

Author: Created by Matthew Peters in partnership with Elisa Stanford

Summary:
A new experience of God comes one question at a time in this fun and provocative journal. Made up entirely of insightful, profound, and occasionally ridiculous questions, Me, Myself, and I AM invites you to open to any page, open yourself to God, and be the author of your own story.

Questions range from spiritually intriguing—You overhear God talking about you. What do hear him saying?

to thought-provoking possibilities like—You are on a long car trip with a close friend who is not a Christian and the conversation turns to faith. What is your biggest fear about what your friend will ask or say?

to challenging—Do you believe that all of Jesus’s followers have a responsibility to tell others about him?

to just plain fun—If your life before you became a Christian were a movie, its title would be:

Animal House

As Good as It Gets

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

It’s a Wonderful Life

Me, Myself, and I AM will entertain, inspire, and get you thinking about your spiritual life from brand new angles. Whether you use Me, Myself, and I AM as a reflective tool, a way to start conversations with friends and family, or as a spiritual time capsule to look back on years later, their own words will create a powerful journey of self-discovery.

Angie's Take: This book is exciting to me. I loved journaling in the past but lately have found it harder to do in such a busy life. Me, Myself & I Am helps me to play again, connect and enjoy the unique questions. It's a small and thin book. That's important to busy people. Sometimes we look at a huge thing and can't even break it down any more into workable pieces. I like that I can hop, skip and jump around. That's how my brain works anyway (you should see how I write my books, lol.)

The question above is too hard to resist. So here's my answer:

My life is most like It's A Wild, Wild, Wild World. (Hey, there's no rules in journaling. I can pick a more fitting movie.) That was an old movie about a race to find the treasure under the "W". It's funny, wacky and has some stress when I think I've lost my chance. Every time I race ahead of the pack, I find myself on a different road than I expected to be on. But I have the faith that when I get to the park, I'll see those silly trees that form the "W" and win the treasure. Then I realize the value in what I've experienced and the people I love.

I think Me, Myself & I will open up ideas for communication and great conversations especially when it gets a little tough to think of anything to talk about.

Thanks for visiting:-D Now tell me what movie your life seems most like.

Oh my goodness. For me to pick a movie that my life seems most like is such a hard task. I'm a movie junky...or at least used to be before I got into writing.....

I'd say a touch of "Romy and Michelle" because I'm a bit of a ditz, oblivious to much of what surrounds me, but OK with it. A pinch of "Pay it Forward" because I love to try and bless people if I can. A whole lot of "The Terminator" because the Devil's out there trying to break me down, but God's my protector.
