Theatre in Montana

A booming creative world exists up here in Montana! We enjoy a long, live theatre season. In fact, you can attend wonderful shows year-round. From the Summer Stocks at Bigfork, Virginia City, and Fort Peck to many community theaters.

The photo above is of the professional Montana Rep that bases out of the University of Montana, Missoula. Our family was thrilled to attend the showing of Frankestein with Nora Gustuson (a wonderful actress who grew up with our son) in a lead role. Here, our Japanese exchange son gets a photo opp with the cast:-) A great memory for him to take home!

What is it I am wanting to share?

That even though people think of Montana as old west and very rural, you'd be super surprised to see how "big city" we are in all our small towns. Yes, up here in the West, we have quite a bit of the good blessings of sophisticated city life.

You could travel the towns and cities of Montana on an amazing art tour. Missoula has a Friday Night Art Walk every week. The galleries have a huge variety from gorgeous paintings to pottery and jewelry. We have famous artists, writers, actors, singers, dancers and even Broadway stars that live and work in our state.

So I'd like to invite you to Montana for the awesome creative arts!

You'll love it:-)

Angie
