Some days are full of adrenaline when you least expect them to be. You have your schedule lined up and it's not so bad. Then one of your kids, family members, or friends call with a real emergency.
Your heart stops, then it speeds up to an rate faster than an expert poker player shuffles a deck. Somehow everything else you thought was important falls away like the leaves falling off the trees in a strong gust.
All focus, all energy, all natural inclination to "fight" zeroes in on what is truly important, how much you love that person.
I can only say thank you today to the people in Thailand taking care of my daughter during a medical emergency and thank you to God for protecting her from serious harm.
With a heart overflowing in gratitude, THANK YOU!
Angie
