Interesting E-Publishing information

One of my friends in the newly formed chapter of the RWA (Romance Writers of America) Montana Romance Writers has recently had a book accepted by an e-publisher. She's had new contracts to peruse and sign. Yay for Linda Faulkner! In the meantime, she's learned a little along the way about epublishing contracts.

I asked her if she would mind sharing some tips with me. So today, I'm posting a link to Linda's tip blog in case you ever wondered about epubbing your book :-)

The main thing about contracts is to realize you have the options to agree or disagree. Contracts are not just a "sign it or else" situation. Contracts are about negotiation to make it a win-win for both parties.

Don't just sign any contract because you are excited about being accepted. Make sure you take it to a qualified contract lawyer. There are certain things worth paying for and this is one of them.

Enjoy Linda's tips:-)
