Sage Turkey

This is awesome for Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Turkey Bag.
One really big turkey rinsed and patted dry.
Rub turkey inside all cavities, completely under the skin while loosening the skin away from the meat, and all over the skin with Olive Oil.
Mix all these dry ingredients in a small bowl. Add more as necessary.
2 Tablespoons of Garlic Powder
2 Tablespoons of Garlic Salt
1 Tablespoon of Cracked Black Pepper
1/2 cup sage (dried or rubbed.)

Now take the dry mix and rub inside all cavities of the turkey. Then continue rubbing under the skin as far as you can possibly reach to get to the entire white meat. Rub all over the entire outside of the bird.

Following the turkey bag directions, put the bird inside the turkey bag and bake for the allotted amount of time. Around 2-3 hours depending on the size of the turkey.

It's a spicey, flavorful bird:-)

Enjoy!
Angie
